Dog for adoption

My elderly uncle came to me tearfully today asking me to help rehome his dog, Moses. He’s getting older, more frail, and more forgetful, thus unable to give adequate care anymore/soon. He lives alone with my elderly aunt and he’s the sole caretaker of the dog. They’ve had him since he was a pup and the dog is very faithful and protective of him, so you can imagine how it breaks my uncle’s heart to have to come to this decision.

7 years old, male, medium to large, mixed Malaysia breed, not neutered, not updated on his vaccination. Good guard dog.

Location: KL

If you’re able to give a home to this doggo, we can arrange to have him neutered (if the vet thinks it’s a good idea, at this age) and vaccinated. Please WhatsApp me at 0123542014

Would appreciate if you could spread the word. I know it’s not easy to get an adopter for a senior mixed breed dog but as my uncle is a devout person, I told him, who knows, maybe God will send you a miracle…

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
