In Regards To Dogs Succumbing To Poisoning At Desa..

In regards to dogs succumbing to poisoning at Desa Park City, we think it is not due to any intentional act. There is a high chance it is due to pesticide used on the greenery and there is a possibility that these incidents happens only after a fresh dose is administered. Pesticide is very lethal and can kill very quickly. People who consume paraquat (a kind of pesticide) used to eliminate grass and undergrowth in farms and plantations usually have almost no chance of survival and die within days. Perhaps a group of dog owners and lovers should check with the management if pesticide was sprayed around the times these dogs lost their lives. It should also be suggested that the park be kept closed to pers a few days after pesticide has been sprayed.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
