[ACRES X NP] FOR THE PIGEONS AND PEOPLE: ENGAGEMENT WITH NEE SOON EAST RESIDENTS

Ngee Ann Polytechnic with ACRES on a civic internship where 7 interns planned and executed a project to engage residents in Nee Soon Town Council . The feeding hotspots were shared by the Town Council and the interns managed to carry out a walkabout in the area. They shared about pigeon feeding by playing simple games with residents and giving out freebies.

This project has allowed us to gather feedback to follow up on an upcoming Urban Birds Ambassadors (UBA) project that we are launching soon. We hope that this would be a stepping stone for future collaborations. Thank you students for your efforts and the TC for your support!
