Onira was just skin and bones when she first arrived. She had clearly been struggling to survive for quite some time. As well as being malnourished and dehydrated, she was in a lot of discomfort caused by a skin infection. She had nearly given up. 😢

With the help of compassionate people like you, Onira has made an incredible recovery. Isn’t she beautiful? 😍 While she has recovered on the outside, the truth is, she still has a long way to go on the inside.

Onira is still very shy and cautious. After all she has been through, it’s no surprise. It can take a long time for dogs like her to gain trust. She was unwanted and un-liked where she came from, even bullied by the other dogs.

We hope that within time, Onira will be able to learn that she has found a place where she is wanted, where she will always be cared for with open arms. Until then, we will continue to provide all the gentle love and care she needs. 💜
