Piangrak Conducts A Taste Test…
Tweet |
That doesn’t look too tasty to us, Piangrak, but each to their own 👅
Piangrak was brought to Soi Dog after being abandoned at a temple and then attacked by a dog. Now fully recovered, he’s enjoying life in our cattery and using all of his senses to explore it!
💡 Did you know that excessive licking is a sign of a condition called pica? Animals with pica will lick and eat non-food items due to nutritional deficiency, genetics, stress or an underlying health issue.
Fortunately, Piangrak doesn’t have pica. He’s just a goofy kitty who had a curious tongue on this particular day. However, if you notice your cat licking or eating things they shouldn’t be, see your vet to rule out any health issues and discuss whether a change in diet or enrichment might be in
order.
