Behind Kongo’s winning grin lies a sad story. Two years ago, he was spotted wandering aimlessly down the street, and it’s suspected that he’d been abandoned. A few days later, he was spotted again, this time with a severe open wound on his leg that needed urgent treatment at our shelter. His pinky toe had to be amputated, but fortunately our vets were able to save his leg.

Kongo is a fun-loving boy, full of character, who overflows with love when he sees people he knows. He spins in circles when he sees them because he knows it’s time to go for a walk and play!
