We are so pleased to share with you that Soi Dog Foundation has passed the milestone of having neutered and vaccinated 700,000 animals since our founding – over 595,000 dogs and 105,000 cats!
The programme that started off in Phuket in 2003 has grown exponentially over the past 19 years and become the largest of its kind in the world today, all thanks to your support.
You’ve helped add mobile units, which now number 10 up and down the country, and taken our CNVR programme to 16 different provinces, from Chiang Mai in the north to Songkhla in the south, from over the border with Cambodia in the east, to Kanchanaburi in the west.
In Bangkok alone, where we operate six mobile clinics in partnership with Dogs Trust Worldwide, over 370,000 animals have passed through the programme in what is Southeast Asia’s third largest city.
It is unquantifiable just how many millions of puppies and kittens have been spared a short life of suffering through CNVR.
With so much work still to do, it is very much a case of onwards and upwards. But for every life spared, and every life saved, we say thanks to you – the Soi Dog family from around the world – for making it all possible.
