#TurtleTuesday Regarded by many as the most beautiful of all marine turtles due to the striking pattern of their shell, hawksbill turtles have been visiting Melaka’s beaches every year to nest. One of WWF-Malaysia’s objectives is to protect the critically endangered hawksbill turtle population of Melaka by conducting nightly nesting monitoring during the turtle nesting season (April to September) in partnership with Department of Fisheries Malaysia.
