⚠ Very Graphic Images ⚠ Not many words are needed to describe this heart-wrenching case… Ferreira must have been in terrible pain when she was found. The kind locals who found her and reached out to us said she must have been bitten by a dog and then slashed with a machete by some cruel human. The attack left a huge open wound on the side of her body, but somehow she miraculously managed to stay alive until she was rescued. Look at the size of her wound 😱😱… Poor Ferreira must have been hiding away for days before she was found.

She is now safe at our hospital, receiving the care she needs to make a full recovery from such terrible ordeal. She and the many other injured cats at our hospital can only make it with your help.
