Kuromi's Painful Fall. Spcasingapore Responded To ..
#SPCASingapore responded to a call of a kitten that appeared at a Level 3 balcony in Pasir Ris – the caller had no clue where Kuromi came from but could tell she needed medical attention. With her left paw twisted in bad shape, Kuromi was (understandably) distressed.
With the help of SPCA Community Animal Clinic, Kuromi had her paw amputated. She went home with a staff under our Medical Care Foster – which included keeping her wounds dry and ensuring she minimizes her movements. She was also weak after surgery and had to be syringe-fed, given subcut (under skin) fluids, and medications for her cat flu.
Soon after, Kuromi became the sweetest girl and has since found her #foreverhome. She is an example of an animal with lots of love to give, that was unfortunately hindered by a painful wound.
If you would like to help provide animals like Kuromi a chance to show their true affectionate self, be a part of SPCA’s Medical Care Foster Programme by dropping an email to volunteer@spca.org.sg for more information.
