Turtle Guardians patrol beaches in Melaka, Sabah and Terengganu from 8.30pm to 5.00am every night during nesting season to protect turtle eggs from being poached. They collect data on nesting females by tagging their flippers, and check for hatchling emergence as well as ensure that they are released in accordance with best hatchery practices.
Their work is vital to increase the number of hatchlings produced each year, ensuring the perpetuity of turtle species. Your donation helps fund their efforts and ensures the long-term survival of sea turtles in Malaysia.
