Zenya was a truly sorry sight when he arrived at Soi Dog in 2017. Battered and bruised after a fall from a moving vehicle followed by a vicious attack by a pack of dogs, it took a great deal of time and TLC to get him back to the happy, healthy and handsome boy he is today.

Perhaps you’re wondering what this charming all-rounder is still doing at the shelter some four years later. Well, Zenya has a strong distrust for other dogs – likely as a result of his terrifying encounter on the streets – and is looking for a home that’s for him and him alone. Unfortunately, homes like this are hard to find, so while Zenya has stolen plenty of hearts over the years, he’s never quite managed to land himself that perfect set-up.
