Curious about how we can benefit fellow Malaysians and our planet through food? We’re looking for interns or volunteers to join our team and contribute to our research development on Sustainable Diets!

Quick Facts:

◼ Position: Sustainable Diets Research & Resource Management Intern

◼ Working location: Fully home-based

◼ Contract period: 3 – 6 months (a.s.a.p.)

Responsibilities:

✅ Screening and extracting key information from multiple resources (e.g. research papers, studies, reports, academic articles, news articles) on mainly local health and nutrition as well as food-related aspects on socio-economy and environmental impacts

✅ Organising and synthesising screened resources and information

✅ Maintaining and updating an internal digital resource library

✅ Supporting data analysis as needed

✅ Complete other tasks as needed and/or as of interest

Requirements:

✅ Excellent command of English – both spoken and written

✅ Unlimited access to a computer/laptop and a stable internet connection

✅ Excellent technical research and analytic skills (statistical analysis skills are a plus)

✅ Good Microsoft Excel skills

✅ Organised, self-motivated with attention to detail and accuracy, able to work independently under minimal supervision

✅ Preferably enrolled in or already completed a programme/course relevant to dietetics, food and nutrition, food systems, food policy or similar
