Tuntung dah naik bertelur!

Projek konservasi tuntung sungai di Sg. Kemaman, Terengganu telah pun bermula. Setakat ini, sebanyak 36 butir telur telah berjaya dikutip untuk tujuan pengeraman.

Projek ini merupakan kerjasama antara Jabatan Perhilitan @perhilitan_malaysia, penduduk setempat dan pihak TCS.

Semoga usaha konservasi kita ini berjalan dengan lancar tahun ni.

The river terrapin nesting season in the Kemaman River has begun. To date, we have managed to secure 36 eggs for incubation.

This project is a collaboration between the Malaysian Wildlife Department, local villagers and TCS.

We hope that our terrapin conservation effort this year will go smoothly.

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
