This is so very true, especially for non-profits.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Oftentimes, donors ask us, “What else do you need?” To be very honest, we need financial support, because with it, comes the freedom to purchase equipment; pay rentals and bills; hire additional help—as and when it is needed.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Making a difference doesn’t mean making a donation to a non-profit and telling them, “Here’s some money, buy whatever you need. Now.” Because most times, we’re pretty self-sufficient. We have all the tools we need to do our work, and if we don’t, we’ll find a way to rent, borrow or buy them.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And by “giving,” we don’t just mean, “give ‘em some money.” It could mean a whole lot of other ways of giving too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you’re a photographer/videographer, do come over and shoot some short video clips for us. If you’re a person of influence, put in or better still, endorse our work on your social media, send your followers to us. If you’re a reporter, reach out to us, we have plenty of stories to share. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you’re employed, tell your co-workers about us and purchase something from us. If you’re in a position of leadership, consider making a bulk order for our merchandise. If you’re a student, get a few friends and organise a fundraising campaign for us. If you’re a graphic designer, reach out to us and help design our collaterals. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
