Maslinda rescued a litter of kittens with what she described as “weird features” (like mongoloid features). They were discovered to be have been infected with the herpes virus, and all of them did not make it.
From Maslinda:
45 – the one i told u looks like a down syndrome kid
46 – herpes virus that cause wound n pus – flesh eating look like
52 – herpes virus
48- the normal female kitten (died due to respiratory problem)
these 3 are the 4 kittens i told u about. which has weird features. all was diagnosed with herpes virus, a severe one also. all has been like this when rescued, but getting worse despite the lysine and other meds. they are also still young, probably only 2-3 weeks. all not survived. the female (the most normal one) also not survived, due to herpes virus, attacking the respiratory. as precaution. the room, cages n others stuff used for their confinement have been sanitized. the cloth used by them is buried together
Very sad, isn’t it? It’s the plight of street animals, folks. There are those that suffer that we don’t see.
Spay-neuter, folks. It’s the most compassionate way to help street animals.
