Tomorrow Is Amira�s 12 Cats/kittens� Appointment

I went to speak with our vet today regarding Amira’s 12 cats/kittens which she is bringing in tomorrow for a check-up and treatment.

The vet said Amira has called the clinic and spoken to him. Apparently, according to Amira, there appears to be an outbreak of a fast-spreading contagious skin infection in her cats. We will know more tomorrow.

In my correspondence with Amira today, she said the 6 sickly kittens appear to better today and were already eating on their own.

When asked how she acquired these 12 felines, this is what she says:

A male black cats and orange cat I take it from a school almost one year ago..the white one,one female students give it to me..they start sick when one siamese kitten was brought to my home..these kitten have a fungus when she was brought to me..these� kitten my fiance found on the middle highway to sg. besi…

I have asked for photos of all 12 cats/kittens and am still waiting for Amira to send.

Tomorrow, as promised, our volunteer will meet Amira at the tollbooth near her house and lead her to our vet in Subang Jaya. Then, she would be on her own.

For the sake of those 12 lives, we have pledged a 50% subsidy. Otherwise, it would have been rather difficult to get Amira to agree to this appointment.

Let’s pray for the best, folks, and hope there is nothing too serious with the skin condition of these cats.
