Today On My Way To Work, Saw Hit By Car Dead Walla..

Today on my way to work, saw hit by car dead Wallaby in suburban area. I stopped and confirmed it was a female Wallaby and pulled out up a live pinky from her pouch. Kept it snug as a bug. Weighed 25 grams and free of injury. Wildlife carers swung by to pick her up and give her a good go although she’s very tiny. It’s important to stop and always check. I just want to recognise the relentless amazing dedication our Aussie wildlife carers demonstrate 24/7 all year round.
