Here’s updates from Connie James:
AFTER
A new zinc roof installed.
Also, a plastic roof is installed, which can be opened for some sun.
Plastic roof opened.
The dogs have their own room as well!
We wish to thank Connie James and her staff for helping Pak Din, with the labour as well as the materials, and most importantly, with heart!
Updates from Chew:
Last saturday, Connie, one of Pak Din’s well wishers kindly despatched her workers to help Pak Din to renovate his place. This saved us a lot of trouble because initially we were planning to do the repairs ourselves with help from volunteers who responded to Dr.Chan’s blog.
I wish to record my thanks also to Benjamin, Mann, and Cynthia(sorry i don’t have her email) who volunteered to help.
Many thanks again to Connie also for the dog food contribution.
Kit, Pak Din’s cat was brought back last wednesday and is recovering well at home. He still needs a protective collar on as his wound needed suturing. He’s currently still on antibiotics and will need to go back to the vet in 2 weeks to have the stitches removed.
