Dear all,

This poor dog had fallen into a drain in Sea Park and remained trapped for several days. Luckily a Good Samaritan pulled doggo out and called us. Doggo has been named Kobe and admitted in Gasing Veterinary Hospital. One eye is badly injured and vet says it has to be removed. The surgery will be scheduled once Kobe is in a more stable condition. Blood test, x-ray and ultrasound (if needed) will also be done within the next few days. We have to pay a deposit as well as raise funds for Kobe’s medical bills. Since Gasing does not want to accept direct bank-ins, herewith details. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
