Hello February!

We are gearing up for the next terrapin nesting season here in Kemaman. Our Terrapin Guardians have just built a basic off-the-ground campsite for themselves and our interns.

.

And we have incubated our first nest of 11 eggs! Please pray that we’ll continue to collect many eggs this year (last year we incubated 1,012 eggs).

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
