Naida Kaltak in Bosnia is an angel with bruised and sometimes frostbit wings. Every single day, she’s called to one or more remote Bosnian villages to rescue dogs and cats who are barely hanging on. In the extreme cold, pouring rain and during the peak of summer’s heat, she’s often on foot for hours at a time, searching out abandoned animals and seeking solutions for their care. Naida is a legend and a leader in her community. There is no financial support within Bosnia and Naida’s only hope is outsiders abroad who care as deeply as she does. With a mountain of veterinary debt, Naida sorely needs help.
