🔥 Key Challenges

• Limited daily access restricts the number of rescues possible per day

• High number of reports still coming in, many without verified owner contact

• Some homes remain locked, unsafe, or owners are unreachable due to festive season

🛠️ Operational Updates

• Vet team on-site daily for assessments

• Rescue priority list continuously updated and used for access planning

• Coordination ongoing with MBSJ, Police, Bomba, and YB Preakas’ office

• Volunteers remain on structured shifts; no new intake currently

🔜 Next Steps

• Maintain daily rescue ops and verify new reports

• Prepare for longer-term care or fostering of unclaimed pets

• Launch centralised supply distribution system for affected pet owners

• Continue public communication to locate owners of unclaimed animals

End of Report

We also lobby the Government and local municipals for humane treatment of animals and harsher penalities for perpetrators of crimes against animals. Founded in 1958, SPCA is a well-respected and trusted Non-Profit Organisation. Over the years, the organisation has gained tremendous goodwill, recognition and support from animal lovers all over Malaysia
