The visit fostered meaningful exchanges, raising awareness of WWF’s role in conservation and efforts in community engagement in Sabah. We appreciated the opportunity to share insights into our ongoing efforts in Sabah, including the Sabah Landscapes Programme, followed by a lively Question and Answer session.

Connecting with Indigenous Peoples and local communities is key to WWF’s 2030 Roadmap, which focuses on ensuring they actively shape decisions on climate action, sustainable development, and protecting nature for future generations.
