⚠️Graphic photo content⚠️ Fimmie survived a shot to his face, an act of cruelty that no dog deserves.

After the vicious attack on his life, this poor, sweet dog must’ve been in immeasurable pain. Thankfully, he was found by an animal lover before it was too late.😥

When he was stable enough, Fimmie underwent surgery in our hospital. Our dedicated veterinary team carefully removed bullet fragments, grass, dirt and other debris from his wound. Then, our loving care team hand fend Fimmie a liquid diet via syringe twice a day until he was able to eat on his own again.🩺💓

Fimmie is just about at the finish line of this horrific ordeal. What comes next is the safety and security of life as a sanctuary resident.
