At 13-weeks-old, this tiny puppy was attacked by another dog and left with a broken leg 💔.

Akkani’s tiny leg was in terrible condition, after a suspected dog fight. Her concerned feeder called us immediately, which ensured she got the emergency care she needed 🚑 🏩.

Shortly after arriving at our hospital, Akkani was taken into surgery and screws were implanted. This is a difficult procedure for any dog, but for a young puppy at such a formative age, the weeks of cage rest that follow are especially difficult 🤕.

Thanks to the support of animal lovers like you, Akkina has been receiving this comforting care she’s needed 🧡 💫. She’s made excellent progress and will soon have a second surgery to remove the implant.
