All good things must come to an end. Only then will extraordinary things begin.

Our avian enclosure will soon be demolished to make way for a sewer system. This opens opportunities for newer, bigger projects to enhance the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre infrastructure and optimise our resources.

The avian enclosure had rehabilitated countless birds from orioles to eagles, but it was also built to serve multi-species such as pythons, monitor lizards, and even otters. With the help of corporate volunteers, the enclosures were built from ground up, entirely by hand.

We’ve put together these photos to reminisce the hard work put in, and give special thanks to our corporate volunteers, including Kalai Vanan, ex-staff Ram Velu, Joe Kam, and the late Raj Kumar whose legacy lives on at ACRES.
