His jaw was broken. His lung haemmorhaged.

Pokpakraksa had barely survived a life-threatening trauma – a speeding vehicle collided with him.

Thankfully, he was found by a kind local, and did not suffer what could have been a slow, painful end 💔

Because of his injuries, Pokpakraksa has been in our hospital, being fed through a feeding tube for weeks now. He pulled through the first surgery to rebuild his mandibular symphysis, and will undergo a second in the coming months.

Unfortunately, this is routine care for our veterinary team who treat hundreds of stray animals every month. And this poor boy is far from the first to require this exact treatment plan.
