On 24th May 2024, a member of the public discovered a brown tabby cat in a metal cage at around 6.30am, left at the void deck of Blk 374 Jurong East Street 32. The SPCA is treating this as a case of abandonment.

The cat has been brought into the care of the SPCA.

The SPCA is seeking more information about this matter. If you have any information, saw anything unusual around 24 May 2024, or know someone who might, we urge you to come forward and share it with us. Please call our 24/7 hotline at 6287 5355 (ext. 9) or email depinspector@spca.org.sg. Information provided will be treated with the strictest confidence.

Under the Animals and Birds Act, individuals found guilty of cruelty to animals (including abandonment) can face a jail term of up to 18 months and/or a maximum fine of $15,000.
