How long did Khaopad suffer from the horrible snare injury? It had obviously been some time 😟

Her entire paw and lower limb were necrotic, but as an extremely shy dog she hobbled away from anyone who tried to rescue her.

The kind humans who were concerned knew they needed help and reached out to our Animal Rescue team.

As she arrived at our hospital, it was quickly determined that she would need an amputation, but first her health needed to stabilise 🤍.

Days later, when Khaopad was well enough, our veterinary team performed the surgery.

Now, ten months later, Khaopad has become a resident of the sanctuary. She is still extremely shy, so our team will continue to work with her, showing her the kindness, patience and unconditional love that she deserves.
