Even surviving ones suffer in captivity due to owners struggling to meet their complex needs, resulting in shell deformities, nutritional deficiencies and organ failures. But there’s hope for some of the victims already in Singapore. 🌟 In 2018, ACRES repatriated 51 Indian star tortoises to the #wild in #India.
