When Wriothesley was found he was unable to move – he had been hit by a speeding car and left with severe injuries.

Imagine the pain, fear, and despair he must have felt, all alone and hurt in the stifling heat💔. With serious internal injuries, we don’t know how much longer he would have survived.

Thankfully, because of the swift action of an animal lover just like you, our team rushed to the location and were able to give Wriothesley emergency veterinary treatment. When he arrived at our hospital, our vets found his liver had ruptured and he needed immediate surgery.

Today, Wriothesley is quickly recovering in the safety of our Sanctuary – his physical wounds have healed and his spirit is beginning to return. Like many other animals in our care, this strong boy has a long recovery ahead of him, but with you by their side, they will receive all the medical and emotional support they need ❤️.
