January 29th 2024 marks what would have been late Co-founder Gill Dalley’s 65th birthday. Tragically, we lost Gill far before her time in 2017 – but her devotion and compassion lives on through individuals like you ✨🧡.

Gill devoted every moment to alleviating the suffering of stray animals in Asia. Despite losing both her legs not long after Soi Dog was formed, while saving a drowning dog from infected water, Gill never took a day off from pursuing her dream.

Gill left an immeasurable and remarkable legacy behind 🧡. Today, on Gill’s official Remembrance Day, you can help to honour her memory by making a special donation to the Gill Dalley Memorial Fund for Disabled Animals – your special gift will not only help care for the 220 disabled animals at our Sanctuary, but it will also help to ensure we can continue to rescue, treat and rehome desperate animals in need and transform their lives.

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals. Soi Dog also has a treatment facility in Bangkok and responds to crisis situations throughout Thailand. The organisation is dedicated to implementing effective, sustainable solutions that reduce the suffering of dogs and cats in Asia, runs entirely on donations and works efficiently so all donations are used to help animals as effectively as possible.
