🏔️💚 This #InternationalMountainDay, let’s rally together to support indigenous communities of Bung Jagoi in Bau, Sarawak, who are working tirelessly to conserve their natural and cultural heritage. Bung stands for mountain in the BiJagoi Bidayuh language. Bung Jagoi is rich in biodiversity, cultures and histories. It is also part of Sarawak Delta Geopark.

WWF-Malaysia engages the communities and Jagoi Area Development Committee to work towards achieving the #IUCN Green List certification. This certification programme recognises and promotes well-managed protected areas as well as community conserved areas. 🌄✨
