Heimdall Is Named After One Of The Norse Gods A Bi..

Heimdall is named after one of the Norse Gods – a big name for such a small boy, but one he deserves after the strength he’s shown. 💪
10-year-old Heimdall came into our care in May this year. Our rescue officers were collecting a group of dogs for neutering when they came across a small, scruffy, senior boy with a fractured front leg.
According to local reports, he’d been hit by a car some weeks before. The thought of poor Heimdall out there fending for himself in such pain is almost too much to bear. 💔
Thanks to your support, we were able to relieve him of that pain by amputating his severely injured leg and giving him a permanent place of safety at our Sanctuary.
Heimdall is enjoying everything the shelter has to offer so far – regular cuddles, off-lead areas to explore and ongoing treatment that has him feeling half his age! And he has you to thank for these things.
