An Update On Ayak, The Stabbing Victim. Ayak Was R..

An update on Ayak, the stabbing victim. 💔

Ayak was rushed to the Soi Dog hospital by our Emergency Response Team earlier this year. They’d rescued him from a small nearby island where he’d been brutally stabbed. 😢

With no vet clinic on the island, and Ayak quickly losing blood, we are certain that he would not be here today without your support and the quick action of the team.

Ayak had two deep lacerations – one on his leg and another on his back – both of which required urgent reconstructive surgery. Fortunately, the procedure was a success, and today he has hardly even a scar to show for his ordeal.

But while Ayak’s physical recovery is almost complete, his emotional healing is only just beginning. You can see the fear in his eyes. After everything he’s been through, we can hardly blame him. 😞
