KUCHING, 07th October 2023: 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 Anti-Rabies Vaccination for pet dogs / 𝘗𝘦𝘮𝘷𝘢𝘬𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘪-𝘙𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘗𝘌𝘙𝘊𝘜𝘔𝘈 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘬 𝘢𝘯𝘫𝘪𝘯𝘨!

⭐️Dogs under Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) are entitled for FREE DOG LICENSING AND MICROCHIPPING / Lesen anjing & mikrocip PERCUMA untuk anjing di bawah Majlis Perbandaran Padawan (MPP).⭐️

⚠️Peringatan:

✅Sila pastikan anjing anda berumur 3 bulan ke atas dan sihat.

✅Sediakan IC dan kad vaksin anjing (jika ada).

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗮𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗸𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗶:

✅ Kuarantin dan asingkan anjing anda selama 28 hari selepas pemvaksinan untuk membina imunitinya.

❌Jangan mandikan anjing anda selama 1 minggu selepas pemvaksinan.

❌Jangan biarkan anjing anda bercampur dengan haiwan lain yang tidak diketahui status vaksinasi.

❌Jangan biarkan anjing berkeliaran secara bebas di tempat awam.

✅ Pastikan anjing anda sentiasa dalam keadaan terkawal – di dalam kawasan rumah berpagar atau di ikat supaya anjing tidak lepas bebas.

⚠️Semua pemilik anjing di Sarawak hendaklah memastikan anjing disuntik vaksin anti-rabies. Kegagalan berbuat demikian boleh disabit kesalahan di bawah Seksyen 40 Ordinan Kesihatan Awam Veterinar, 1999 dengan denda tidak melebihi RM 2,500. Anjing yang ditangkap tanpa bukti pemvaksinan anti-rabies boleh ditahan atau dimusnahkan di bawah seksyen ini.

✅Ensure that your pet dog is above 3 months old and healthy.

✅Prepare the owner’s IC & pet’s vaccination card (if any)

𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱, please be reminded to:

✅ Quarantine and isolate your pet dog for 28 days to allow immunity against rabies to strengthen.

❌ Do not shower the dog for at least 1 week after vaccination.

❌ Do not let your dog mix with other animals with unknown vaccination status during quarantine.

❌Do not let your dog roam freely in public places. Use a leash when going out!

✅ At all times, please ensure that your pet dog is 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 / under effective control (even after quarantine).
