This dog has skin cancer and was rescued by independant rescuer Pretty Subramaniam. We had helped a little with funds and were considering euthanasia if condition deteriorated. Surgery was carried out and the vet managed to remove some of the lesions. The dog is also very energetic and has a good appetite and deserves a chance to live. The vet, Dr Wong, has reccomended she takes oral chemotherapy drugs which can shrink the lesions. We will be giving RM3,000 from the late Banting Boy to pay for this chemo drugs. Wish this girl well and send her healing vibes please.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
