2015 Continued Soidog20years. In Addition To The W..

2015 continued #SoiDog20Years 🧡

In addition to the work to end the dog meat trade and find new homes for the dogs rescued, Soi Dog’s large-scale spay/neuter programme (known as CNVR – Catch, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return) was going from strength to strength.

A long-term mobile spay/neuter project began in Bangkok, aimed at tackling the large stray dog population in the city. The creation of the Bangkok arm of the CNVR programme helped see the all-time number of animals neutered and vaccinated pass the 100,000 mark.

Meanwhile, the growth of programmes was also seeing an increasing number of animals needing shelter at Soi Dog’s sanctuary in southern Thailand. By the end of the year, the number of animals under the care of Soi Dog had risen to 564.
