Soidog20years Continued. 2012 Was The Year That So..

#SoiDog20Years continued 🧡

2012 was the year that Soi Dog branched out to Thailand’s capital Bangkok by opening a small treatment clinic there. This would later become the hub of coordination for the Bangkok arm of Soi Dog’s CNVR (Catch, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return) programme.

Soi Dog’s fight against the dog meat trade was gathering pace too. Intelligence was being gathered – including data on transit routes, frequency of shipments and areas from which the dogs were being taken to supply to this horrific trade – and support was growing from local people for the move to end it.

Dialogue began with Thai authorities in preparation of intercepting trucks and disrupting supply routes.
