Whats The Difference Between Freshwater Terrapins ..

What’s the difference between freshwater terrapins and terrestrial tortoises? If you remember, we have told you in the first post of this campaign. Scroll down and you can learn more about their differences!
First up, we have the Impressed Tortoise (Manouria impressa). What do they have to be impressed about? Mushrooms! They really love forest mushrooms 🍄, especially during the rainy season. They also eat bamboo shoots, grasses, and fallen fruits on the forest floor.
They live in humid forests on hills and mountains. You will find it hard to see them because they hide in the leaf litter of the forest, thanks to their golden-brown shell and skin.
It’s name actually has nothing to do about being impressed, rather because of the concave shape of its scutes. Do you have a nickname?
