Let Us Present The River Terrapin Batagur Affinis ..

“Let us present the River Terrapin (Batagur affinis) today!

These #criticallyendangered Southeast Asian #turtles can only be found in three countries worldwide: Cambodia 🇰🇭, Thailand 🇹🇭 and Malaysia 🇲🇾

Did you know that in Malaysia, river terrapins are confined to only three states: Perak, Kedah and Terengganu? This makes their existence incredibly rare!

Due to their diminishing population in the wild, TCS aims to bring about the recovery of their wild populations through conservation, research, education, public awareness and community empowerment in Kemaman, Terengganu.

Are you interested in lending a hand? Reach out to TCS to schedule an appointment to participate in the release of the river terrapins back into the river!
