Happy World Wildlife Day! 🐢

Giving support to wildlife conservation, The Datai Langkawi invited us to host two awareness talks to introduce turtles of Malaysia and promote turtle conservation milestones, successes and challenges to their esteem guests.

We were also given the opportunity to promote Eastcost cultural heritage through our handcrafted turtle motif batik merchandise 👒 All funds raised goes to support the local entrepeneurs and for our turtle conservation.

We would like to thank @thedatailangkawi for inviting us and we look forward to establishing a longterm collaboration with @thedataipledge in support of turtle conservation effort 🐢

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
