Little Lekkie recently arrived feeling very sick. Just a young puppy, she didn’t even have her mother with her. It’s scary being unwell, let alone when you’re that young and on your own. 😥

And it’s no wonder she felt so poorly. The veterinary team quickly discovered that Lekkie was suffering from severe anemia, something that can be fatal in young dogs. 😔 She’s already received a blood transfusion and is receiving care for her malnourishment and fungal skin infection. But she shouldn’t have to recover alone.
