When in September 2022 the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) introduced a permanent ban on the importation of dogs into Canada from several countries, including Thailand, where our sanctuary is based, we were extremely concerned that many of our dogs would have their futures ripped away from them.

Dogs like Roswitha, who had been through unimaginable cruelty and neglect, and who deserved the chance of a brighter future.
