Selangor To Evaluate And Update Sops Regarding Dog Shelters, Says Exco

Taking action against animal cruelty is one of our missions here at SPCA Selangor. Through the “Create Caring and Compassionate Communities” (CCC) campaign, we hope to increase the effects of preserving the welfare of animals and reduce the number of abandoned animals.

THE Selangor government will uphold the concerns of Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin who had expressed sadness and disappointment following photos and videos of abandoned dogs neglected at a dog shelter managed by Kuala Langat Municipal Council (MDKL).

SPCA Selangor is an animal welfare organisation based in Ampang Jaya, Selangor. The aim of the SPCA is to protect defenseless animals and to alleviate their suffering. We receive more than 700 unwanted, homeless or abused animals every month.
