Amoney Has A Sad Story To Share With You Today. Bu..

Amoney has a sad story to share with you today. But without wanting to give away any spoilers, there is hope at the end.

A few months ago now, a kind animal lover like you was just going about their morning when they found Amoney and her six kittens dumped in a sack. It’s hard to believe that anyone could just discard the family in such a way.

Once they arrived at our cat hospital, our veterinary team discovered that the whole family was positive for FPV (feline parvovirus). They were moved to our isolation area to keep them, and the other cats in our care safe, and immediately started to receive treatment.

Despite the very best efforts of our team, all of Amoney’s kittens sadly passed away. When they arrived, they were just ten weeks old. Having such a rough start in live, combined with the devastating virus – their little bodies were just too weak.

It wasn’t the life they deserved, and it was a heartbreaking loss for Amoney who had done everything she could to protect her babies. 💔

This is an example of just how important CNVR is. Unwanted kittens who are born into the world have no way to protect themselves from the deadly dangers that await them. Their suffering is preventable.

Thankfully, Amoney was strong enough to recover and is doing well. It was too late for her kittens, but with the help of people like you we have been able to treat more animals than ever before as part of our CNVR programme this year. Preventing the unnecessary suffering that this family had to go through.
