We just concluded our side event, Showcasing the Living Landscapes Approach at COP15 in Montreal, Canada 🇨🇦

Apart from a special screening of ‘Bornean Elephants – A Journey Through A Living Landscape’ video, we also heard speakers from government and businesses such as Dr Khairul Naim Adham, Undersecretary, Biodiversity

Management Division, Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change, and Chief Conservator of Forests, Sabah Forestry Department, Datuk Frederick Kugan, as well as our partners from Sawit Kinabalu and Sabah Softwoods Berhad.

The second half of the session was a panel discussion moderated by WWF UK’s CEO, Tanya Steele. Panelists include Dr Henry Chan, Conservation Director, WWF-Malaysia, NL Swaroop from HSBC and Kamal Seth, WWF Global Palm Oil Lead.

We are thrilled to have a landscape approach informing an international dialogue such as COP15.
