At just four weeks old these young puppies have already experienced cruelty. Someone had separated them from their mother and abandoned them. 😥

Without anyone to feed or protect them, they had no chance of survival. Luckily, they were found by someone just in time.

They are now in the safety of our hospital receiving the care they need. You might be wondering what the stickers on their heads are. Well, when young puppies or kittens arrive, it’s very important that we test them for common viruses that not only put their lives at risk, but the lives of the other dogs and cats in our care. Before they have been named, this gives us the chance to easily identify them and know whose results belong to who. If they test positive, we will move them to a safe area away from other animals and start giving them the medicine they need.
