Meet Abby. We are looking for adopters for this cat. Current Location:USJ.

One of our members found her in January this year, at the street side, very sick and just skin and bones. Abby had no energy, but she summoned up every ounce of energy and walked up and asked to be rescued. We took her to the vet. Abby tested FeLV+ and FIV-.

She had inflammation in her mouth and gums and bad teeth that made eating painful. The vet encouraged us to get her neutered as she needed anaesthesia for teeth extractions, and both procedures could be done together. The vet found on the operating table, that she was already spayed. Considering how comfortable she is with humans and that she is spayed with no ear-tipping, we feel Abby may have been a pet cat who was dumped or lost.

With lots of tender love and care, Abby has made great improvements very rapidly. She is almost plump. Apart from ongoing inflammation in the mouth which is managed by giving her medication, she is doing very well. She is an undemanding cat, quietly affectionate with her care giver.

Since she is FeLV+, Abby is best suited to a household where she can be a solo cat. She doesn’t like other animals. She is not aggressive but won’t tolerate a cat or dog coming near her.

We have encountered cat lovers who make great pet-parents for healthy, rescued cats. This time we need a cat lover with an extra-large heart who is willing to take in, live and care forever, for a cat that is FeLV+.
